Best Dinner of My Life

i just got back from a marathon dinner with my mom, her BESTEST friend from middle school/high school/college and present..and her daughter (who is my age and was my best friend growing up). let me just tell you it was A BLAST. its soooo much fun tos ee my mom with her best friend from back in the day, it really helps me imagine exactly how my mom was..and how frickin adorable the two of them must have been. I swear my mom and her friends must have been the group of girls that everyone envied...because they were so stinkin pretty, nice, and talented! Sigh. we ate at california pizza kitchen which was super good because i was super hungry for pizza..mmm...we ended up talking for like five hours. it was A BLAST. katies boyfriend is going to bradley next year; so hopefully i can take her around campus and show her my sorority and such. liz (katies mom) just made me feel so good. she kept on saying how cute i was, and how i must drive all the boys at school crazy..okay granted her comments werent exactly true at all, it still sounded so good to hear. i know that sounds vien, but given my current situation, ir eally needed that pick me up. she then told me that i needed to flirt with every boy in sight, even if he was a nerd, and finally one would click (i guess my mom gave her this advice in high school when her bf broke up with her)..how cute is that?? she was like chrissy, whoever th is oby is that let you go, think about ALL his imperfections and then you will be happy. haha oh you ahve to love adorable liz. she is still likea teenager. man what a great time!

swim lessons went amazing today. i ahd lots energy b/c it was the last day of second session and my first hour girls were ADORABLE. they are such good swimmers, and one of them could float ALL BY HERSELF. i was osooooooo proud of them:) plus their parents complimented me alot, and that made me feel really good. it also helped affirm that im going to be a good teacher; and a HAPPY teacher. i love that im going to love going to my job. i know this is dorky; but i want the first musical i direct to be like grease, and then hopefully wicked will be in a school edition so i can direct that...yeah im a dork haha who thinsk of that honestly?

im going to door county this weekend with my girlfriend and am sper exicted. first of all, i have hard core lifeguarding tan lines (a lady even noticed it in the bathroom of cpk today, ugh!) and i need to get rid of them. second of all i need to get away from here and have some greatly deserved fun without any sad memories. lastly, i love my girlfriend, her sister, and her mom so i know i will have a few days of complete laughs which is the best medicine and exercise a girl could ask for!

i was supposed to hang out with my bestest mcginnt onite, but my phone isnt working..BOOO that i really want to see her. i miss her. CANT WAIT til we're roomies. oo boy. fun times man; i tell you.
